The J. Hawk Team

J. Hawk Builders, Inc. has a team of dedicated professionals that take pride in the entire building process. Right from the word “Hello”,  we strive to develop a close working relationship with our customers. The J. Hawk Team is honored to work with you on your project and to show you how we care about your home, your family and the space you live in every day.

Johnny Hawkes – President

Johnny started his Building and Remodeling career in 1999. After being employed for seven years, J. Hawk Builders, Inc. was formed.

Since the conception of J. Hawk Builders, Inc. in 2006, Johnny has been involved in a couple of organizations including Southern New Hampshire Home Builders and Remodelers Association where he sits on the board of directors. J. Hawk Builders, Inc. has grown into a Design/Build company that specializes in customer service and quality craftsmanship.

Johnny is a family man, he has a loving wife Sara and a son Jordan. For fun, Johnny enjoys the outdoors playing golf, hiking, exercising and snow boarding in the winter.

Mark Fournier – Operations Manager

Mark has been with J. Hawk Builders, Inc. since day one, and has grown from being the lead carpenter of the business into the role of operations manager. Continuing education in the construction industry has allowed Mark the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with all of our customers, and provide them with Chief Architect drawings that bring their dream project to life in a full color, three dimensional view.

When Mark is away from work, he can usually be found outdoors. During the warmer months, he enjoys bass fishing, golfing, and exercising whenever possible. As a true New Englander, Mark finds ice-fishing and snowmobiling to be the best way to enjoy the winter months.

Dan Frost – Lead Carpenter

Dan has evolved into an extremely talented builder over the years. As our lead carpenter, we are pleased to have him represent our company. He embodies all of the traits that we feel are necessary to produce the quality of work we demand, and conducts himself with the professionalism we expect. His insight and knowledge of building makes Dan a great asset to our company.

Dan enjoys a wide range of activities. He attended Southern Maine Tech. where he specialized in automotive engine repair. His background in automotive has allowed him to construct engines from design to completion. If it has an engine, Danny can be found on it! He rides snowmobiles, motorcycles, and 4-wheelers. Getting into exactly what he does on them would take a while, but it usually involves him being asked to SLOW DOWN or make sure all wheels are PLANTED securely on the ground!!!

Nelia Benjamin – Controller

Nelia is the controller of everything related to business finances at J. Hawk Builders, Inc. Her organizational skills and ethical approach to accounting have helped us understand better business practices, and has allowed her to become a very successful self employed tax accountant.

Nelia enjoys spending as much time as she can with her husband and two children. She shares her faith and wisdom with the people around her, and has had a very positive impact on many. Nelia also finds time to relax and unwind while listening to Jack Johnson, Michael Buble, and Frank Sinatra.
